GoldenSky is a music festival in Sacramento that had country music artists such as Tim McGraw, Brothers Osborne, and Sam Hunt.

We are so grateful to Artists for Trauma for including our brochures in their tabling event at the GoldenSky, where our team had the chance to share our mission and talk with fellow survivors.

2021 Gilroy Remembrance Events

Our founder Megan Bull was at the Gilroy Garlic Festival mass shooting in 2019. For the second anniversary of the tragic event that has an important basis in our organization's founding, we hosted and participated in a week of events in July 2021 to remember the victims, honor first responders, and help foster continued growth in building resilient communities for all those impacted. These events included the inaugural Gilroy Week of Kindness, Yoga with Layla Mazdyasni, Gilroy Anniversary Vigil, Gilroy Strong Resiliency Center Open House, delivering thank you baskets to first responders, and The Neon Kitchen cooking show with chef Mark Segovia and nonprofit leader Martha McNiel. See our events in the news here and view the full press release here that was circulated to media outlets about our week of events.
