Survivor Retreat
Healing begins at the roots, where resilience takes hold.
It is with heavy hearts that we share that Reclaim Foundation will be unable to host our Survivor Retreat in 2026 due to financial constraints.
Over the past two years, more than 50 survivors have joined us for this retreat, finding connection, healing, and community with others who understand their experiences. Participants consistently tell us that these gatherings provide a sense of belonging and support that is difficult to find elsewhere.
While we are deeply disappointed to pause this year's retreat, we remain committed to bringing this program back as soon as possible. We are actively seeking donations and funding opportunities that will allow us to continue offering this life-changing experience at no cost to survivors.
If you would like to help us restore the Survivor Retreat and ensure survivors continue to have access to this supportive community, please consider making a donation using the button below.
Thank you for believing in our mission and helping survivors reclaim their lives.
Inaugural Survivor Retreat
In 2024 we hosted our first ever Survivor Retreat at Whispertree Retreat in Booneville, CA with about 25 survivors!
Our healing workshops were led by Marsha Jacobsen, Lisa Ellisen, Elizabeth Von Klan, Alexa Douros, and Gena Castro Rodriguez. This event was made possible by our retreat sponsors Galderma, Mountain Cascade, and Vacation, Inc.
This inaugural retreat taught us the true value of community and the need for a survivor-focused space.
2025 Survivor Retreat
In 2025, we hosted our 2nd annual Survivor Retreat in Pescadero, CA at the Venture Retreat Center. Building on the connections formed during our inaugural year, survivors gathered to participate in healing workshops, wellness activities, and meaningful conversations with others who understood the realities of life after trauma.
The retreat reinforced the importance of survivor-centered spaces, where participants could find community, share experiences, and support one another on their healing journeys. Many attendees left with lasting friendships and a renewed sense of hope, reminding us why this program is such a vital part of Reclaim Foundation's mission.
